The program can't start because uplay_r1_loader.dll is missing from your computer.No need to go to install folder.The most commonly occurring error messages are: Then choose DX11 and restart the game to take the DX11 effect in use but this time you can run it through uPlay. Go to Settings/Resolution again and deselect Fullscreen from ON to OFF and after that make sure you choose borderless. Now that you have made your changes, let's make DX11 to work. This should open the game with uPlay functions enabled, now to make DirectX 11 to work you need to go to Settings and just set everything up like you normally do. If you cannot run the game from uPlay then go to your Blacklist install folder and navigate here: Splinter Cell Blacklist\src\SYSTEM\ and run Blacklist_game.exe. So after trying few things this is how you can make your game work perfectly. Steam version should work fine but uPlay version has this two broken exe files: Blacklist_Launcher.exe and Blacklist_DX11_game.exe. I suggested a temporary fix on Facebook on Ubisoft Support page few days ago so people could even run the game as there was an issue with both updated and 1.0 version. I think that this problem is only for uPlay version so Steam users should be fine. This is what happens to them and happened to me: Running the game from uPlay game opens a console and closes the game to after report. There are lots of people complaining that DX11 is not working and uPlay does not run the game properly on 64 bit W7/W8 systems. This issue may have been resolved already on some other official/non-official thread but I thought to share this info just to be sure.
